The Fallen Leaves Classic Ride is a social ride bringing cyclists together in one last effort to get some miles in before the cold sets in and that feeling to go out starts to diminish.
Brave the elements one last time with our social ride. Option of an 82 mile with 8,000ft of climbing or a leisurely 40 miles either way you don't need to be part of a club, be a regular or have signed up to one of our events before. Simply enter online, turn up, sign in, enjoy some coffee and then set out on your adventure. Then after you have burnt off those calories come back to North Bar Social, Otley and enjoy some food and some craft beers to reward your efforts.
Some important details:
- This ride is not signposted nor is there maps. We will give cards with key towns but we expect all riders to have a GPS device, or know the route.
- The ride does not have any mechanical support. We will have a support car for collection of riders only.
- We will have a stock of Energy Gels and Powder in the car and will hand these out to riders on the routes. There will not be any feed stations.
- Riders are wholly responsible for their self.
- This is a ride not a race.
- There are some prizes for elements of this ride. These prizes are not to encourage racing and they are not for the quickest time around the route.
- Please ensure you abide by the highway code. This event requires your support and respect for other road users.
- Helmets must be worn at all times.
- Beer and Food is not included in this ride but we hope that you will come and socialise post ride at North Bar Social, Otley.

Around Otley there are plenty of car parks, you will need to pay for these and if parking roadside we ask that you respect the local citizens.
The cost of this event is free.
Riders are entering this ride knowing that they are responsible for their self and others and that True Cycling Limited are not responsible for death, damage, theft, injury or negligence of other riders. You enter this event recognising that True Cycling Limited are not responsible in any way for you and your belongings during this event. We ask that you take part and are sensible. Your riding technique should be in line with your ability and the environment. We recommend that you take our insurance on yourself and your belongings.

This ride is self sufficient and we ask that you ensure you have downloaded the route to your garmin, or other gps device and have printed off the map. Prior to the ride we ask that you make yourself familiar with the route.
This route is not signposted. There are no feed stations. There is limited support from the support vehicle.
We ask that riders take care on the roads, that you are wholly responsible for your wellbeing. We will not be held responsible in any way for you, injury, death, damage to you or your belongings or other riders. We strongly encourage that you have insurance prior to entering this event. The organisers True Cycling Limited are not responsible in any way for you, or your wellbeing.
Upon return you will be able to enjoy half a pint from North Bar Social, and enjoy some food from En Route Coffee.
We ask that you ride in the manner and ethos of the ride, that it is social. We will be offering out a few prizes for those riders completing certain segments on strava - this will not be for the quickest time. We remind you that this is a ride and is NOT A RACE. We will not accept any form of racing whilst part of this ride.
Riders must wear helmets at all times. Cut off for the event is 5:00pm. We ask all riders to be back by this time. If the weather is bad please ensure you have lights.
